OMEGA PSD: Overview

Omega’s Platform Screen Doors (PSDs) provide full-height or half-height barrier systems that physically isolate station platforms from the track area. These PSD ‘Doors’ are precisely synchronized with train door operations via interlocking controls, ensuring openings occur only when trains are aligned and it’s safe for passenger.

Safety and Operational Benefits

PSD installation acts as a barrier, separating the passengers from the charged train tracks. This prevents passenger falls, unauthorized track access, trespassing and objects from falling on track.

PSD Installations by OMEGA

OMEGA has successfully completed PSD installations for 22 stations for Ahmedabad- Gandhinagar Tri City Metro Phase-2. Upcoming installations are in Surat Metro and multiple other metro networks.
